Who is Kayhan Turan, MD. ?

Dr. Kayhan Turan is a distinguished specialist in Orthopedics and Trauma. His medical specialties encompass Joint Replacement – knee replacement surgery, hip replacement surgery, robotic surgery, arthroscopic surgery, sport medicine, and regenerative medicine, including stem cell therapy.
Dr. Turan currently serves as the President of the Robotic Orthopedic Surgery Association (ROCD) and holds the position of Medical Director at both the Robotic Orthopedic Surgery Center and the Turan Turan Bone Muscle Joint Health Center in Bursa, Türkiye. He is also a faculty member at Istanbul Atlas University.
Throughout his career spanning over 30 years, Dr. Kayhan Turan has made significant contributions to modern orthopedics in Turkey, particularly in the domain of robotic surgery. He successfully performed Turkey’s first robotic total knee replacement surgery in 2016 and the first robotic hip replacement surgery in 2018. To date, Dr. Kayhan Turan has performed over 4000 robotic surgical procedures, offering innovative treatment methods to his patients with his extensive knowledge and 32 years of experience.
